FROM THE CHAIR…. control of the world (almost).

Posted by Mike on June 10, 2009

Note: due to the extensive theft of the primary photograph here…. I have to remind you there is about a $100,000 fine for stealing this picture now that it’s registered with the US copyright office…..

What if you could control your world from a chair like this?

Well this fishing boat (almost 300 feet) captain can, and does, with his all new electronic bridge.

We made this photo with a Canon 5D, a 16mm lens at f16 and used 9 exposures and multiple sets of lights off and on about 30 or more minutes after sunset to layer together an exposure for each monitor level, the exterior, and the red running lights. The lens is in the position the captain’s eye would be from THE CHAIR.
