Mustang for Make a Wish

Posted by Mike on June 30, 2008

We recently did a job for Car Star (nationwide chain of auto repair shops). They were going to sell this car they rebuilt (to almost race standards) and give the proceeds to Make a Wish.

The trick photographically was to get rid of the busy background so we split the photo into two layers and used a lot of blur in the lower layer… painting back the car with a layer mask.

Lexington Realty, variety

Posted by Mike on June 8, 2008

In two days we shot each of these… What a variety… beauty and the beast I’d say.

But that’s thing with being a professional photographer you need to make these things look as good as you can regardless of the driving rain storm or crush of darkness, or security guards who want to shoot you even though you work for their boss’s boss’s boss.

Photos of the BAND, Pravda Studio

A little lighting control, defocused background, and minor retouching produces great location shots of the BAND. By the way, the party was hosted by one of our clients Gourmondo catering.
