Toyota is Green?

Posted by Mike on May 22, 2008

This ad for Toyota just popped into my head while I was taking a day off to make photos of things I like (waterfalls and green stuff in the Columbia River Gorge, East of Portland, Oregon).

What would help them sell cars? Here is one idea….

These two photos were taken the same day about 40 miles apart… It’s a great place to work since you can have any climate you want in a few miles travel.

I was photographing a party for Perkins Coie (the large law firm) and was asked to make sure I got a photo of the two senior partners together….

Immediately I “saw” Mortimer and Randolph Duke from the movie “Trading Places” with Eddie Murphy et al…

So here they are, Seattle style….the-dukes

Echo, Oregon

Posted by Mike on May 8, 2008

Here are two of the three things in this town. The train goes from coast to coast all across the United States. St. Peter’s Catholic Church was built in 1913… opening to dovetail with the end of the usefulness of the Oregon Trail… which passed within 100 feet of the front door.

The third thing is a pioneer quality cemetery.
