Making Photographs in Seattle

Backstage views on making photographs professionally

About Photo Making

Maybe you get it already… but it’s my contention that if you just “take photographs” you will never make it as a professional photographer. You have to “make” the photographs because that’s what the client really wants…

“You don’t take a photograph you make a photograph.”

Ansel Adams.

Photographs that sing in tune… will actually motivate a donation, sell a product, or right a wrong.

©   Oh yeah, I have a friend in Chicago. He has a big ball peen hammer. He is a lot more effective in enforcing copyright law than a wimpy old lawyer… so don’t swipe the photos.

If you post a comment or question I will get back to you (assuming you are not a spammer). If you are a spammer, may your fingers fall off. Or there is e mail: Theephotographer@yahoo.com

Im sure many of you are like me and one of the first things you do in the morning is head here and check out the new post. Along with seeing the new posts, I’m also always checking out the blog roll rss feed and watching them grow, or shrink sometimes. In one of my past …but all in all excellent site. Keep it up!
